iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S: Now Available in Bangladesh

The latest iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C is now available in Bangladesh. But, the price is very high and unstable. Like always, apple don't have any intention to sell it all over the world. It is exclusively for the big & rich market. But, still you may have the new iPhone from the unauthorized dealers. They sell it for a much higher price than apple. I could remember the initial price of iPhone 5 in Bangladesh during its launch. It sold from 80,000 to 100,000 Tk. But, the price dropped around 30 to 50 percent within a couple of month. So, its wise to wait for a few months if you really want to buy the new iPhones. Another thing is that there is no major difference between the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5C in hardware, except the plastic made casing of the iPhone 5C against iPhone 5's metal finished casing. If you already have the iPhone 5 I dont think thee is any need of buying the iPhone 5C. To be fair the 5S also will not give you a big leap from the previous iPhone 5.

So, I dont find any reason for buying an iPhone at such a high price and low specs (Compare with Galaxy S4, HTC 1, Xperia Z1). The display size is only 4 inch (though quality is great its not great for a smartphone). The RAM is 1GB, the camera is 8MP + 1.2MP. OK, I know there are some guys who still love to have the iPhone 5C or the iPhone 5S, whatever the price is. I just want to say no fixed price for them find the cheapest by yourself.

Nokia 208 Dual-SIM : Budget 3G Phone from Nokia

I know there are lots of guys who actually don't want a touchscreen mobile. They feel much comfortable on the old ways of keypad. Nokia 208 is a good option for you. The fact is that it is not at all a smartphone. Rather you can call it a feature phone with some smartphone functionality. There is no WiFi, GPS or secondary camera. The number of apps are limited for S40 series. So it will not give the look, feel or usability of a smartphone. So, fact is that you get a phone with 3G but least scope for making its best use. If it fits for you buy it for 5,900 TK.

Best budget android mobile in Bangladesh in 2013

In 2012 I published an article about the best budget android mobile in Bangladesh. Today we may consider a new list of smartphones to have a more appropriate choice. The android market has changed a lot in one year. 3G has already been introduced by the state owned Teletalk. All other private GSM mobile operators have got license and is expected to introduce 3G from this October. There is also a big change in the handset market. Bangladeshi smartphone brand Walton and Symphony is dominating the mobile market of the country.  The price of the smartphone has come to the budget of everyone. So, lets try to find out the best budget android smartphone today.

Walton Primo C2:
Walton recently introduced this handset. It has all the features of a smartphone. Obviously it will not give you the look and feel of a premium phone, but it is a great phone at its price range.Remember it is not a 3G supported phone, it also lacks the GPS feature. It comes surprisingly with latest Jelly Bean OS. The 256 MB RAM is ok for such a low price phone. But, 1Ghz dual core processor is powerful enough. All this you get for 3,990 TK. Not so bad for starting your journey to android world.

Walton Primo D2:
I know some of you are still in confusion if you should buy a smartphone without 3G (when all the mobile operator is going to introduce 3G. Though, I am quite doubtful about the availability of 3G to the most people due to high price). Whatever, if you really want a handset with 3G and dont want to cross the 5K, than Walton Primo D2 is the only option for you.

Symphony Xplorer W68:
I am sure some are already put me over question as I am writing only about Walton. Ok, here comes Symphony. The previous two handsets has some lacking. Its in RAM, no GPS...... I think you should buy things knowing about the quality and considering the price. I am sure they are best available options at their budget. If you want a more powerful one and still in a tight budget, Symphony W68 is the best option for you. This is a very good handset with more power (ram, processor, display, connectivity etc) and premium design . But, the price is very budget friendly only 6,490 TK.

Maximus Max 907:
Recently I had to choose an android handset in a tight budget, as low as 5000 TK. But, I was looking for a device which supports gps, wifi and 3g. It was the most difficult job for anyone unless he knows about the Maximus Max 907. It is not a breath taking device at all. In fact you should not think of such device at this budget if you know the reality.  It has a long list of shortcomings...very low RAM and ROM which in fact makes it useless for installing many apps. The mediocre display don't look so great. So why should you go for it. For me the battery life is fine and the gps and wifi is of great use for me. I also love the 3g calling facility (you may find the front camera resolution horrible but money talks. Such a budget what else you could expect). Gp is offering this handset for 4850 with attractive package. Click here to know more.

Google Nexus 4: Say Goodbye to The Bold & The Beautiful

Google Nexus 4 is in fact made by the South Korean electronic giant LG. It is one of the best android handsets, but the price is cheap enough. Starts from $200 (+ sales tax and shipping charge not surpass the total of $250). So, the price should not exceed 20,000 TK for Bangladesh. But here you have to pay a much higher price due to some conditions of Google. In fact Google loves to sell it themselves. There is no other option but to buy it from the play store if you want it at Google price. Most important thing is that Google has sold out all nexus 4 device from its play store. It will soon start selling its new version Nexus 4 (or Nexus 5, Yet to officially name it). I think you should wait a few more days and consider buying the latest Nexus mobile. Whatever if you still want a Nexus 4 you may find one in the Bashundhara city, Dhaka. The price depends on bargain and storage from 25,000 to 30,000 TK.
